On the morning of January 26, Zhang Xiguo, Chairman and Party Secretary, Lin Xu, Acting President, Yang Fei, Party Committee Deputy Secretary and Labor Union Chairman, and Suchart Phowatthanasathian and Li Ji, the Vice Presidents of the Company, visited the frontline organizations in two groups to express their comfort to the employees who stayed at their posts and to extend Chinese New Year greetings and sincere blessings to everyone.

  Zhang Xiguo, Li Ji and the delegation conveyed greetings to the on-duty employees of the new Central Control Room, Mechanical Department, Electrical Operation Group, Technical & Planning Department, Terminal BT and other organizations, and presented them with holiday gifts. Wherever they went, the Company leaders would wave to and shake hands warmly with the staff on their posts.

  In front of the center consoles of Olefins BT, Polyolefin BT, Utilities BT, and Fuels-1 BT, Zhang Xiguo had cordial conversations with BT responsible personnel and operators on their posts to learn about the production and operation status in detail. He hoped that everyone would operate carefully, optimize operations, and ensure safe and stable production during the holiday.

  In the Central Control Operation Area of Olefins BT, Zhang Xiguo had in-depth exchanges with BT management, learned in detail about the operating status of the units after the TA/revamp, and carefully inquired about unit load, hoping that they would further strengthen management, maintain safe and stable operation, enhance the marginal contribution of the units, and give play to their role as the major driver in creating profits for the Company; in front of the control console of Utilities BT, Zhang Xiguo inquired in detail about the operating status of the IGCC unit and cooling water plants.

  In front of the control console of the Fuels-1 BT, Zhang Xiguo fully commended the efforts of everyone in the BT to work with contractors to overcome difficulties and achieve overall success in the face of heavy tasks and great pressure during the 2024 TA/revamp. He hoped that the BT would operate safely and smoothly in the new year and make new contributions to improving profitability of the Company.

  Arriving at the new office area of Mechanical Department, Li Ji extended Chinese New Year greetings to everyone and thanked everyone for their hard work in TA/revamp and equipment reliability management.

  At the new main substation and the engineer building, Li Ji shook hands cordially with the staff on duty, inquired with concern about the personnel arrangements during the Spring Festival, and encouraged everyone to reinforce duty performance during the Spring Festival holiday to ensure safe and stable production.

  After leaving the plant area, Li Ji and other leaders drove to Liyuwei Terminal to visit and comfort the on-the-job front-line employees of Terminals BT, learn about the berthing operations and delivery of products by sea transportation, and remind everyone to pay attention to safe operations to ensure spending a safe and peaceful Spring Festival.

  Lin Xu, Yang Fei, Suchart Phowatthanasathian and their party visited PQC, old Central Control Room, Fire Brigade, EOEG and other organizations to express their greetings to the employees on duty. Wherever they went, the Company leaders would shake hands with the employees on duty one by one, sent the employees good wishes for the New Year, and wished the employees and their families good health and all the best in the new year.

  In the Central Control Room of the old plant area, Lin Xu communicated with employees of the Fuels-2 BT. He commended everyone’s contribution to the TA/revamp and hoped that in the new year they could enhance the operational control capabilities and improve the level of safe, stable, long-term, full-load and high-quality operation of units.

In front of the control console of Offsites BT, Lin Xu said that in recent years, new employees have continued to join Offsites BT, adding new emerging forces to the team. He hoped that the experienced workers would effectively mentor and help the new ones develop as quickly as possible.

  Lin Xu, Yang Fei, Suchart Phowatthanasathian and their party came to Aromatics BT to express their comfort. They fully commended Aromatics Complex’s top ranking performance in Sinopec, thanked the BT for its contribution to the Company’s profitability improvement in 2024, and hoped that in the new year, they would set a record high and create greater glory for business operations and profits creation of the Company.

  At the fire brigade, the firefighters were in high spirits, morale and neat formation. Lin Xu expressed his gratitude to the firefighters for their full support during the TA/revamp, and encouraged them to strengthen their training and combat readiness, build an invincible team of firefighters, raise their vigilance, take precautions, and support safe production of the Company.

  Lin Xu, Yang Fei, Suchart Phowatthanasathian and their party came to the EOEG Central Control Room of the Petrochemical Industrial Park to express their comfort. Lin Xu pointed out that in 2025, the ethylene glycol market would be further perfected, and he hoped that everyone would continue to maintain safe and stable operation and make new contributions to the Company’s continued efforts to improve quality and profitability.

  When leaving Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park, Lin Xu, Yang Fei, Suchart Phowatthanasathian and their party also extended New Year greetings to the security personnel who stayed at their posts.

In the communication with employees of various organizations, the Company leaders required that the tasks in the new year would be arduous and everyone should work together so that the Company could comprehensively enhance its competitiveness, achieve better safety, production and profitability, and continuously promote high-quality development. They believed that as long as everyone works hard, the Company will prosper and the employees will be happier.
